Formation of liquid phase and nanostructures in flash sintered ZnO

چکیده

This study presents the effects of current density limit on flash sintering and formation nanostructures in undoped ZnO. The combination high electric field low (1 2 A/cm2) results hot spots fracture as well ZnO vicinity spots. Such phenomena were not observed case higher 3 A/cm2. A detailed microscopy analysis revealed that growth initiated from liquid phase regions at grain boundaries within grains.
